Here are a few tips on how to do this. The first thing you will want to do is take down your light fixture. This will make it easier to do all the steps for a quality paint job. Once you have removed the light fixture remove all the glass so that you can get in every crevice of the light. Now that you have ready your chandelier you will want to give you light fixture a quick sanding with a fine sand paper such as 200 or finer to give the paint a good face to stick to. Now your light is ready to me taped off. You will want to cover all the electrical components of the light. If paint gets into the sockets it could cause the light to not work.
Once your light is totally ready you will want to hang it from a wire or rope. This will allow to get all the way around the light and get the top and lowest all at once for even coverage. They key to painting your light is to use a quality paint and do even coats very lightly so that you do not get runs. Apply several coats to ensure a quality halt and let it dry for about 24 hours before handling it.
Now that you light is dry put all your glass on and replace any wiring that was removed. This is a quick and easy way to spruce up your lighting.
